Everything has its time

Problems arise in that one has to find a balance between what people need from you and what you need for yourself.”

Everything has its time, when it comes to life. There’s a trend nowadays where society makes you believe that you always have to be on the run, always being proactive, and as they call it now, always hustling. People don’t make the time for anything unless it involves money, entertainment or drama that’s at the expense of someone else. It feels like the blind is leading the blind nowhere.

Did we forget our hobbies exist?

To be interested in something for joy

To have worry-free moments

Having a bit of fun for a moment

Are we only enjoying the materialistic things of life?

Making money is important, but it’s not the most important. What good is money if you are miserable with it and if you can’t even enjoy it? Let’s be honest, money can bring happiness to an extent, but that’s not what life is all about. Stop comparing yourself to others on social media….actually stop comparing yourself to whomever, period. In reality most of these people take care of themselves before showing their appearances. Not everything you see is a reality, so take care of yourself before you wreck yourself.

  • Prioritize your health
  • Let go of perfectionism
  • Don’t be afraid to unplug
  • Set boundaries
  • Set goals and priorities (and stick to them)

“ The problem is that technology has become an extra limb for some of us. It’s important to utilize this technology, but at the same time it’s important to know when to take a break from it.” – Alex Broches, Start Living
