Reality

Escapism— The tendency to seek distraction and relief from unpleasant realities, especially by seeking entertainment or engaging in fantasy.

Daydreaming is a way of escaping reality, but you have to face reality at some point. Let’s face it, we are all going through hardship. You can spend your whole life trying to escape reality, but sooner or later you have to face it. Some days it may feel like a burden to smile, but that smile can make a big difference. That smile can make your day, change your mood, and bring you to a better state of mind.

Sometimes life gives us a moment to escape reality and find our peace of mind. A place where everything seems right with the world. A place of mind to just be having “Me” time is the perfect way to start. To forget all of your stressful problems, even if this just for a moment. Life can get overwhelming, we are all dealing with some sort of issues. The flaws of living life can be too much to bear.

Remember you don’t have to be on the go all the time; you don’t have to follow trends on social media. It’s okay to go about life at your own pace. You don’t have to exhaust yourself trying to live a miserable life for show.

  • Be true to who you are
  • Live consciously each day
  • Know your inner self
  • Learn to love yourself
  • Do the things you love

“Every life is narrow. Our only escape is not to run away, but to learn to love the people we are and the world in which we find ourselves.”
